About Community of Living Ethics

Together we experiment new ways to expand individual and group consciousness. We do this through experiences and tools such as meditation, the development of the spirit of service, Culture, Living Ethics and research applied to different fields and dimensions of human life. We promote individual and group development to include in our consciousness wider dimensions, such as the relationship with nature and the cosmos. Psychosynthesis, Psychoenergetics, Group Focusing, Creative Meditation, Culture, Art, Science and New Models for Education are just some of the ways in which we try to fulfil the purpose of our organisation. History Sergio Bartoli, a student of Roberto Assagioli, founded the Community of Living Ethics in 1981 together with a group of 11 friends, all connected to Psychosynthesis, with the intention of creating a centre for study and practice related to personal development in psychosynthesis and creative meditation. Creative meditation developed rapidly through the years, as well as the study and practice of spiritual teachings. Since 1995, we have called ourselves the ‘Community of Living Ethics’. The term ‘Living Ethics’ - derived from the Agni Yoga Teaching - indicates the intention to consider all sides of human life by developing them according to a vision based on freedoom and Ethics. We are also committed to go beyond the abstract or intellectual dimension towards a practical - ‘living’ - experience of all that is understood.
