About Community of Purpose

Community of Purpose is a Bristol-based Community Interest Company (CIC) on a mission to unlock transformative opportunities for young people by bringing together Bristolians and businesses as a collective force for good. We exist to increase confidence, raise aspirations, and create positive connections for young people, while also galvanising a network of local business to grow through community engagement. Our work is driven by purposeful partnerships and a clear focus on creating lasting, measurable impact. Through our six flagship programmes, we support and celebrate young Bristolians from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of needs: ▪️Break Free – Tackling holiday hunger and social isolation with meaningful activities, food, and friendship during school holidays. ▪️Bristol Young Heroes Awards – Celebrating the strength, resilience, and achievements of extraordinary young people across the city. ▪️Purposeful Pathways – Supporting the future of young Bristolians by helping them build networks, confidence, and access to opportunities. ▪️Bristol Achieve – Helping high-potential students from disadvantaged backgrounds thrive, through tailored support and peer mentorship. ▪️Bristol Together Championships – Using sport to promote fairness, inclusion, and connection across diverse communities. ▪️Bristol2Bordeaux – A life-changing overseas experience that fosters friendship, personal growth, and cultural understanding through sport and travel. We bring businesses and volunteers together, and create inspiring opportunities to give back - through fundraising, team-building experiences, and a shared sense of purpose.
