About Community Transport Services Tasmania (CTST)
CTST provides transport services to the frail aged and younger people with disabilities with transport that supports their independence and ability to remain in their own homes and communities for longer while retaining connection with their local communities. Our clients are able to access our service for medical appointments, shopping, visiting family and friends, paying bills etc. Our service is provided state-wide through a fleet of around 90 vehicles. Once a client registers with CTST, bookings are made through our team of Coordinators. Clients are then transported to their destination by our team of around 400 volunteer drivers, and returned home at a pre-arranged time. We help our clients to continue living independently within their community by allowing them to continue to attend appointments such as regular visits to the doctor, trips to the shops or hairdressers or to events such as flower shows, concerts or sporting events.
