Compact Crane Services (CCS) is based in Norwich, Norfolk and offers a friendly, efficient and safe lifting service aimed at reducing the need for manual handling. The Spider crane which is available for hire with operator is fully electric therefore giving off no harmful fumes, zero emissions and no noise pollution making it the perfect choice for indoor work and residential. Our compact crane transports itself on site at its reduced width of just 755mm allowing it to track through gates, alleyways and other areas of restricted access. Despite its compact size once its set up and ready to work it has the capability to reach to heights of over 16m and extend to over 14m horizontally. At close range its capable of lifting up to 3t and we have seen figures of approx. 200kg at maximum reach (horizontally). In addition to its impressive reaching capabilities the fly jib attachment at the end of the main boom allows us to angle the final 4.3m giving the crane complete flexibility to reach horizontally beneath soffit and overhanging areas. CCS also has the capabilities to lift and aid the installation of large glass units and roof lights weighing up to 630kg with the use of our pneumatic glass lifter. Weights above 630kg are achievable upon request. As part of our portfolio we can also offer our new Tracked Carrier to aid with transporting loads of up to 1.2t or 2t with the added Dolly wheel.
