CDR is a clinical resource for disability claims direction. We are proud to be the only national organization dedicated to providing peer review services to the Group Disability sector. Our boutique status is attributable to our panel of board certified actively practicing physicians who objectively opine on primary and secondary disabling diagnoses, co-morbid or co-existing medical conditions and their relation to function, restrictions and limitations, and appropriateness of current treatment regiment. Our Clinical Quality Assurance (CQA) team is comprised of licensed nurses who perform an extensive quality assurance review by utilizing their extensive clinical knowledge to perform a clinical triage roundtable to ensure: • Opine of medical evidence and supporting rationale. • Accurate, clear, concise, evidence-based rationales have been provided in support of all recommendations. • All references cited are current and obtained from reputable medical journals and/or publications. • Identify any inconsistencies within the report and contacts the peer reviewer to obtain clarification, modification or correction as needed. • All posed questions are addressed within the report.
