About Computing Wisdom
Computing Wisdom 智算學院 is a specialized online STEM learning center. We offer gifted/high-achieving 1st–12th graders and beyond, i.e. including college students and adult learners, after-school and weekend math courses, namely Competitive STEM, Math Olympiad, and Test Prep. We also offer short courses Hunter Math Prep and NY Statewide Math. In addition, we also provide Private Tutoring for individuals and groups in math, computing, and test prep. Competitive STEM is an accelerated enrichment program in STEM targeted to gifted/high-achieving students in grades 2–12+, i.e. including college students and adult learners. All course sequences are comprised of 2 courses, except Algebra 2 & Precalculus which is comprised of 3 courses, and Discrete Math & Computing with Python, which is comprised of 4 courses. There are also two one-term courses Number Theory and Counting & Probability (cross-listed in both of our Competitive STEM and Math Olympiad programs). Each part lasts for 18 sessions with 2.5 hours in each session. The program provides students with solid understanding of STEM concepts and exposed them to a variety of challenging STEM problems. Math Olympiad is an intensive olympiad training program targeted at gifted/high-achieving 4th-12th graders who are interested in preparing for major math competitions, such as CML, Math Kangaroo, MOEMS, MATHCOUNTS, AMC 8/10/12, AIME, ARML, and USAMTS. Test Prep is an intensive test prep program for SHSAT Math, SAT Math, SAT Math Level 2, and SAT Physics. SAT Math is an 18-session and 45-hour intensive prep course for SAT Math. SAT Math Level 2 is a 18-session and 45-hour intensive prep course for SAT Subject Test in Math Level 2. SHSAT Math is a 18-session and 45-hour intensive prep course for SHSAT Math. Hunter Math Prep is a 2-session and 10-hour prep course for Hunter College High School Entrance Exam. NY Statewide Math is a 4-session and 12-hour prep course for NY Statewide Math Assessment Test.
