About Comstock Consulting

Comstock Consulting, LLC, offers specialty consulting services for unique projects involving geotechnical, groundwater, constructability, and other earth-related challenges. Owned and managed by Chris Comstock, a licensed Professional Engineer and Geologist, we present over 20 years of design and construction experience resulting from involvement on a multitude of project types spanning almost every A/E/C industry sector. We maintain a thorough understanding of the complex and unique geologic conditions in the Inland Northwest and Intermountain West, especially in the upper Columbia Basin and Idaho Panhandle. Also, we are gratified to have completed projects in nearly all 44 Idaho Counties and the adjacent geographic regions. Being born, raised, educated and trained in the Inland Northwest, Chris’ career passion is rooted in helping create solutions to site challenges by collaborating with stakeholders for each project’s benefit. Established in 2015, Comstock Consulting aspires to generate equally-favorable client relationships that span decades, through careful project selection practices and site-specific risk assessment involving the Owner. We maintain an extensive breadth of knowledge across most engineering and construction disciplines; but our specialties lie in geotechnical, hydrogeologic, forensic, and hillside land development consulting services. Our focus and strengths lie with projects or sites having complex geologic conditions, and those where our multi-disciplinary knowledge can be applied from conception through completion.
