Concordia Schools Los Angeles is part of the educational ministry of the Lutheran High School Association of Southern California located in the San Fernando Valley. Our preschool through eighth grade campus is in Granada Hills. OUR MISSION: "We teach and disciple students in Christian faith, wisdom, and knowledge" OUR VISION: CSLA changes lives through intellectual inquiry and encounters with God’s Word in an environment rich with faith, integrity, and compassion. Committed Christian educators who are positive role models challenge students to achieve academically and grow spiritually in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment. Our student body is ethnically, culturally, and economically diverse reflecting the communities that we serve. Since 1953, our alumni have been proud to be a part of an educational experience where Christian education in the Lutheran tradition has prepared them for college, successful careers, and the ability to live a life of purpose. Today, we honor this tradition by committing to these objectives: • Concordia cultivates a strong academic foundation while nurturing spiritual, physical, and emotional development with opportunities to excel in co-curricular athletics and fine arts programs • At all levels, chapel services, prayer, and Biblical instruction nurtures students’ character and faith Concordia extends beyond the classroom by providing leadership to the community and facilitating outreach and fellowship to all through programs and opportunities to interact with Christian believers and those of other faiths and cultures.
