Conflict Options LLC empowers leaders of impact-focused businesses to use conflict in order to scale for greater impact. Many leaders have been working to prevent conflict, but conflict, itself, is not the problem. The way we handle it, on the other hand, might be. When a conflict or crisis exists, it's possible for it to strengthen and stablize teams who are otherwise ready to scale. And with all the moving parts involved in scaling, you're going to have conflict. It's just a question of whether it's healthy conflict or unhealthy conflict. Healthy conflict allows teams to explore more perspectives and possibilities so they can work more effectively and enjoy greater retention and satisfaction. When teams do not have access to different perspectives, on the other hand, they may not be at their best. They may experience more setbacks, errors, delays, and frustrations. And, to top it all off, people may escalate more. So, we can help leaders navigate through complacency, too. We're proud that founder Joyce Lynn Elder has a unique background. With a background in law, mediation, coaching, and legislative advocacy, she's well-equipped to communicate through conflict. And, she's also got training and experience in performance consulting and ombudswork, so she understands the importance of teams and how to interact with external stakeholders. We don't stop with mediation; we set clients up for successfully scaling for greater impact using a comprehensive inside out approach. It starts with the leader and/or mediation, then we work with the team as a unit, and finally graduate to supporting them as they improve dynamics with external stakeholders - donors, clients, and investors.
