About Confluence Group Insurance brokers
We are a company adapted to Law 9/1992 of April 30 on Mediation in Private Insurance (B.O.E. of May 2), and registered in the Special Registry of the General Directorate of Insurance of Spain (Ministry of Economy and Finance) with the number J-360. Our long experience in the insurance sector began in 1947 under the direction of Francisco Medel Pérez as exclusive agent of one of the Spanish companies operating at that time. In 1977, Rafael A. Medel Carreras joined the commercial management, thus promoting new work methods. In 1989 José Luis Medel Carreras took over the management of the company's business, adopting the form of a limited company. With the formation of the Brokerage, new departments are incorporated into the company that make our clients enjoy independence, breadth of offer, personalized advice and a first-rate after-sales service. The incorporation of auxiliaries to the Brokerage led to the creation of a specific department for their care and development in the year 2000. Given the changes that began to take place in the insurance sector from the year 2010, the company incorporated an Affinity & Associates department to develop the Brokers and Auxiliaries business, implementing in the latter a specific program for Property Administrators and Consultancies. From the specialization of the Affinity & Associates department, Affinity Brokers was born in 2013, an alliance of independent insurance brokers nationwide, as well as Medel & Associates to provide professional support to Property Administrators, Consultants and Assistants. Medel will later be renamed Confluence Group. During all these years our values are loyalty and honesty, responsibility, teamwork and excellence that allow us to offer our clients the best possible service.
