About COnMA DESIGN STUDIO

Founded in 2022 by Cosimo Brizzi and Matteo Lippi, “COnMA DESIGN” is a design studio based in Tuscany. Both Cosimo and Matteo were born in the Province of Siena in 1989. They followed the same route of education until they graduated in Industrial Design under the University of Architecture in Florence in 2012 where they specialised in interiors. After graduating from the university, the two designers continued collaborating in various projects while following two different career paths. Cosimo continued his academic career by doing a Master’s degree and at the same time his vast knowledge in stones allowed him to work as a technical designer in one of the most important companies in Tuscany. On the other hand, Matteo worked in various international studios and then continued his education. He completed his Master’s degree in three-dimensional graphics for architecture and interiors in Milan and then he started his international design career. He lived in the United Kingdom for 4 years where he collaborated with an international luxury architecture and interior design firm. In 2017, during Cosimo and Matteo’s university years, an international panel selected them as finalist in two competitions; in ADI - Compasso d’Oro - Targa Giovani competition with their Baccomat project and in Competition for Designers - Lighthouse Interiors, which was launched by the Romani Group. With their international experiences in the world of design, the two designers embarked on a new journey and founded COnMA DESIGN STUDIO.
