CSIMT is a private occupational school, approved by the Connecticut Commissioner of higher education in the state of CT. CSIMT offers a diploma program in IMT. This program can be completed on a part time or full time basis. The full time program is called the 'Academic Intensive' (AI) program. This program meets for a full week of coursework every quarter for 3 years. During the AI program, students become expert Integrative Manual Therapists and diagnosticians. On a part time basis, a student can participate in the course work through CSIMT, and complete the program within a 10 year window. Throughout the program, there are several additional requirements, including observation, IMT treatment, and additional education such as anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. Following completion of the diploma program, the student will then be eligible to begin the Certification Process, and/or continue his/her education process through Westbrook University for higher degrees.
