The director of the Connecticut Skin Institute is Dr. Omar Ibrahimi. He completed his Dermatology training at Harvard Medical School. Omar then completed an advanced fellowship program in Mohs and Reconstructive Surgery, Laser and Cosmetic Surgery at the University of California - Davis. We subspecialize in surgical procedures for the skin including: Skin cancer surgery (Mohs & Reconstructive surgery), noninvasive fat removal and body contouring with Coolsculpting, skin tightening with Ultherapy, Kybella injections to treat "double chin" fat, lasers for acne scars, birthmarks, red blood vessels/rosacea, Botox, Fillers, lasers for hair removal, leg/spider veins, mole removal, lasers for scar reduction (Fraxel), lasers for skin rejuvenation, skin resurfacing, stretch mark reduction, sunspot/liver spot removal, and picosecond tattoo removal. We only use state of the art equipment. Our doctor is nationally known, publishes numerous research articles and book chapters, and lectures nationwide Established in 2012. After serving as faculty at the University of Connecticut Health Center and Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Omar Ibrahimi opened the Connecticut Skin Institute in Stamford CT.
