About ConSensor - world's best sensors for concrete
ConSensor's core business is the development and production of sensors for the concrete building industry. Currently the most important system is a sensor system to monitor the strength development of young concrete. How does it work? The system consists of a low cost sensor that will be embedded in the fresh concrete, and a 'DataBox' that will read out the sensor and send temperature and conductivity data to the ConSensor webplatform. The software on the website will calculate the strength development from the temperarture and conductivity data using the maturity method, and our own method based on the conductivity of the concrete. Operation on the building site is easy, just hooking up the sensor and a push on a button will do it. The intelligent work is done on the website where the project and concrete data are entered and where SMS alerts (for instance for reaching the design strength, or a temperature limit) can be set and where the progress of the hardening can be monitored.
