About Construction and Development Partnership
The Construction and Development Partnership (CODEP) is a registered charity that invests in and develops the capacity of public infrastructure. Through the directed involvement of the skilled, professional and learned societies, CODEP will foster the interests of deprived citizens throughout the world, either by itself or in cooperation with partners from charitable, private, or public sectors, and thereby contribute to those goals which stand to alleviate poverty, ignorance and discrimination. CODEP will maintain a public record of all its work in order that lessons are learnt and shared. Our first country of operation is Sierra Leone, where we are working alongside the Sierra Leonean government, Waterloo Partnership and other stakeholder groups to develop the reading culture and with it raise educational standards, by the establishment of a countrywide network of public libraries.
