About Construction Training Services
Construction Training Services is a small family business built on reliability and honesty. Our foundations are deeply rooted in the civils, plant hire and utility sectors. This has enabled our training business to have a leading edge in delivering sector skills within the cultural understanding of the workforce the industry depends upon. Operations Director Nigel Carr established Construction Training Services (CTS) in 2014 after downing the tools in 2005 and becoming a CPCS & SMSTS instructor working with CITB. Office Manager Kirsty Carr joined the company in 2016 and now Managing Director Dan Carr in 2017. Having appointed a Business Development Manager in 2024, we are now a solid and growing team of 6. CTS acquired an 8-acre site just outside Needham in 2023 and is now in the fortunate position of offering classroom and both on and off-site training. The site is in a phased development with next steps involving building further practical training sites plus a permanent building to house all business functions. CTS currently offers over 100 courses with 6 being practical. We have exciting developments this year with new courses in the pipeline, but if you cannot see the course you need on our website; please speak to us as we may be able to still help. We pride ourselves on our honesty and reliability with a can-do attitude. We are an experienced, competitive company offering operator courses professionally structured to suit the client’s requirements, whilst upholding the standards set within modern Health & Safety law and our accreditation.
