About ConsumAction
Consum’Action is an exciting new initiative founded in majority by medical students in Montreal, Quebec. Our goal is to alleviate the stigma that surrounds substance use by providing resources/services and facilitating accessibility to care to those in need. What do we do specifically? We inform and promote the discussion surrounding SUDs by a variety of approaches: campaigns such as a naloxone campaign where we hand out narcan, conferences where speakers of different backgrounds (doctors, counselors, people who overcame addiction) talk about their experience with addiction, multiple activities such as “Dry Feb”, and much more.
