About Consumer Credit Counseling Services of the Savannah Area
Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of Savannah is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization that has been serving the community since 1965. Governed by a Board of Directors made up of community volunteers, CCCS helps consumers to identify solutions to their immediate financial concerns and educates them about sound financial practices. Our five branch locations are supported by a staff of nationally certified counselors who are dedicated to providing the highest standard of service to our clients. CCCS is a local United Way member agency which is fully accredited by the Council on Accreditation. CCCS is also a HUD-approved housing counseling agency and is a member of the Better Business Bureau and the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC). Funding is provided by creditors, clients, individual contributors and grants from corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
