Contractors Design Engineering (CDE) is a local Engineering & Surveying Company, a small business (8 full time employees, 3 part-time), with low overhead cost, serving primarily Erie, Huron, Ottawa, Sandusky & Seneca Counties for over twenty years, enabling us to provide nearly instant service at a fraction of the cost of a larger, out of town, company. CDE is currently the Perkins Township design engineer and surveyor, and also work with several other local communities. CDE is always looking to help local communities by providing more cost-effective design services and cultivating good relationships between contractors and communities to achieve the highest quality project at the most efficient cost. Contractors Design Engineering’s business philosophy is to provide their clients with a quality product that best serves their clients’ needs in a timely manner. Adam Weaver P.E., P.S. (President) and Alexander B. Etchill, P.E., P.S. (Vice President) are both a licensed Engineer and Surveyor with over twenty years of experience handling municipal projects along with many private development projects. Adam and Alexander are principals of the company and are the primary contact for all projects. As the company’s leaders, both men stay deeply involved in the day-to-day development of CDE’s engineering and surveying projects and stay in close personal contact with their clients. CDE is also ODOT Pre-Qualified for non-complex roadway design, qualifying them to handle state or federally funded sewer, streetscape/roadway reconstruction projects that would be done.
