About Cooperative Elder Services
At Cooperative Elder Services, Inc.(CESI), we believe healthy aging is for everyone. Through our trusted delivery of services, we empower our community to age on their terms. Since 1978, CESI has been offering high-quality, affordable therapeutic day support for older adults with elevated care needs including cognitive and physical challenges. By providing environments for social engagement along with personalized professional medical care and expert support for caregivers, we empower our clients to age well and on their own terms. With centers in Arlington and Acton, we provide support for clients living across the Greater Boston area. Our clients have elevated care needs associated with dementia (including Alzheimer’s and Lewy Body), Parkinson’s Disease, as well as behavioral health needs and cognitive and mobility challenges. Our centers operate Monday thru Friday from 8am-4pm. At our centers, we provide clients with an environment that supports their whole health; one in which they can: - Build relationships and connections with others. - Engage in therapeutic activities to strengthen the body, mind and soul. - Eat healthy. - Get access to on-site medical care including nursing as well as occupational therapy. - Get connected to other resources and services in their community. CESI’s adult day health centers are staffed by a Licensed Nursing Team, Certified Nursing Assistants and Geriatric Care Specialists with regular consultation by an Occupational Therapist and Registered Dietitian.
