About Copernicus Model United Nations 2024

Copernicus Model United Nations (CoMUN) is a non-profit conference organised by students of the XXXIII Mikołaj Kopernik Bilingual High School in Warsaw. The event follows the format of Model United Nations - formal debates simulating the structure of real United Nations deliberations. The debates are held entirely in English, so the event attracts participants from all over the world. CoMUN originated as an initiative of students wanting to see the world from a global perspective. Over the past years, we have enabled hundreds of young people to feel that their opinion counts. Many of our participants discovered their vocation right at our conference - this is where future activists, lawyers and diplomats unite. We believe that it is crucial to make the younger generation aware of the problems of today's world. CoMUN allows participants to approach world problems from a practical side-the main goal of each delegate is to achieve solutions to specific issues through diplomatic discussions. Our conference is an investment not only in the development of young people, but also in the fight for a better world. The 2024 edition of the Copernicus Model United Nations shall be the largest one ever, expecting around 400 participants from all around the world. Together, we will promote the power of diplomacy in resolving global problems and work together unto a better future.
