Azienda che nasce a conduzione Familiare nel 1967 con la denominazione G. Preda Adesivi Industriali per la produzione di adesivi a base naturale quali destrine, amidi e caseine. La Società diventa in Italia il riferimento principale per Aziende che utilizzano adesivi a base naturale, soprattutto tubettifici e sacchettifici. Nel 1987 Nasce la COPIND SRL mantenendo la proprietà nella famiglia Preda ampliando gli spazi produttivi nella sede storica di Brembate. Nel 2006 COPIND aggiunge due nuove tecnologie nelle proprie produzioni di adesivi, gli Hot-Melt granulari base EVA e metallocenici e gli Hot-Melt PSA che permettono a COPIND di integrare la propria gamma di prodotti base aprendosi contestualmente a nuovi mercati quali la Legatoria, Igienico sanitario e Confezionamento. Nel 2019 viene effettuato un importante investimento con l’avviamento di un secondo sito con un nuovo processo produttivo ad alto contenuto tecnologico per Hot Melt base gomma, che permette a Copind di affrontare le sfide attuali e future.
