Copper Coin is a young independent video game studio based in Amsterdam. What We Do: 1) We make games for the second half of life. Second half of life isn’t delineated by age, but by self-acceptance, non-dualism, and seeing oneself as part of a bigger whole. 2) We make games you'll talk about over a beer or tea, or at the dinner table. Games that ask existential questions and transmit restorative values 3) We design for new audiences - lapsed gamers, older gamers, and intergenerational families Our Beliefs: 1) Consecrate our Craft - Games as transformative art is an underexplored horizon. 2) “Why Life?” - at some point, every person will ask “why am I in this world, what am I bringing to it, and is it better or worse for me being here?” 3) Profit Serves People - stability for our employees; non-addictive game loops for players. We don’t make games that emphasize adrenaline or tunnel-vision, normalize black and white thinking, or trivialize violence.
