About Corazon Wellness & Coaching
My passion is working alongside people on their journey to clarity by helping them remove the obstacles that are keeping them from finding peace and learning to live as they have always dreamed. I received my Masters in Social Work from Fordham University, and since then have gained over 25 years of experience working in various environments including schools and non-profits. Today, I am using what I have learned in my own practice. My family is Puerto Rican, enabling me to provide culturally-competent services in both English and Spanish. I utilize a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to address many different needs including family and couples therapy, stress management, self-image improvement, assertiveness training, mood management, anxiety reduction, empowerment, and work/life balance. Furthermore, I offer clinical supervision for LISW candidates. I am proud to be both a member of the Hispanic Business Association the National Association of Social Workers.
