C.O.R.E. Methods is an approach created by Dr. Bethany Bilodeau, Dr. B, CEO of C.O.R.E. Vocational Services, Inc. Dr. B created C.O.R.E. Methods to help students with disruptive behaviors to reintegrate into the school community by learning the skills to be safe, regulate and connect! CORE’s approach is extremely flexible and meets students and educators in their environments. Providing support and education to those around the student to create a path of integration. Their results average 95% integrated within the school year. CORE assesses the school and classroom values and uses that to guide the student toward success by providing recognition and sensory feedback. Our goal at C.O.R.E. is for those we serve to achieve the highest level of independence possible .We provide a significant amount of support to start to assess what the needs, abilities, and interests of the student. Our goal is that the student would be as independent as possible by the time they no longer use our services. We do this by assisting with setting up tours, job shadows, internships and volunteer opportunities. We assist those we serve by helping to create a network of support as well as decreasing support over time.
