About Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine
The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is recognized internationally as a leader in public health, biomedical research, animal medicine, and veterinary medical education. Through our masters, doctorate and Ph.D. degree programs, we educate nearly 700 students each year, a large portion who are from New York and decide to stay in the state upon graduation. Our clinicians see nearly 100,000 animal patients each year at our seven hospitals and on farms and field settings. Our researchers hold the most NIH R01 grants among all U.S. veterinary colleges. We contribute to environmental and human health, from testing over 2 million COVID-19 samples during the pandemic to providing comprehensive diagnostic testing and wildlife surveillance and protection. Please note: CVM's social media accounts are not administered by licensed veterinary professionals. For any inquiries about pets, please consult your veterinarian or contact our hospitals: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/hospitals/contact-us -Guidelines for Social Media Conduct- Please keep the discussion respectful and on topic.
