About Cornerstone Crossroads Academy
Founded in 2006, Cornerstone Crossroads Academy (CCA) is a faith-based high school for students 17-25 years old located in South Dallas. CCA exists for students who had lost hope in school and are now ready to reinvest in their futures. CCA students have the opportunity to earn a diploma, discover their purpose and find pathways to success through rigorous academics, holistic case management and supportive vocational training. CCA is fully funded through donations from individuals, churches, businesses and foundations. Volunteers are critical to CCA's success and provide support in many ways, including prayer, meals and tutoring. OUR MISSION The mission of Cornerstone Crossroads Academy is to develop urban youth through transformative education, equipping future leaders to impact their communities for Christ. OUR APPROACH CCA takes a long-term, familial approach to education. We are committed to providing excellent academics, holistic support, and a positive environment. OUR PROGRAMS Academics - CCA is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Students meet the requirements for a Texas high school diploma or equivalency using a blended learning model of online self-paced courses along with teacher-led classes. Both of our academic pathways prepare students for the workforce and life after high school. Pathway 1 – GED & Workforce Pathway 2 – Diploma & College Prep Vocations - The CCA Work Academy provides both students and graduates opportunities to learn the importance of work, increase personal earning potential for economic stability, and develop skills to serve our community. Case Management - Our approach addresses the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our students. This is achieved through one-on-one case management services and referrals.
