About Cornerstone Learning Academy

Cornerstone Academy was created out of the need and desire to get back to the basics with educating our youth. Education today has, in many ways, taken out the essential parts of us that make us human by dictating success only by test scores and the amount of standards covered. At Cornerstone Academy, our hope is that each student learn based on their own individual learning styles, and not be forced into a cookie-cutter, one size fits all, educational view. We incorporate tactile, auditory and visual learning practices and our tutoring schedule is based on homeschooling needs and aligns with our community values. Cornerstone Academy is a support for homeschooling parents. Overseen by licensed educators, all Cornerstone Academy tutoring classes focus on state-aligned standards and we incorporate all homeschooling programs into our services. Come prepared with your own homeschooling curriculum, or sit down with an Educational Specialist to determine if our provided curriculum is a good fit for your student. Our goal is to take the stress out of learning for your student, while providing a traditional classroom environment and learning activities while supporting different homeschooling needs.
