About Cornerstone Mapping
At Cornerstone Mapping, Inc., we excel at airborne data acquisition for a wide range of mapping and remote sensing applications. We own multiple aircraft that are equipped with Flight Management Systems, 3-axis gyrostabilized sensor mounts, and airborne GNSS/IMU for precise positioning and orientation of the airborne sensors. Our Vexcel Ultracam Eagle is a large-format sensor of choice. The UCE is used for all of our 4-band mapping projects. We use this camera system for our high-accuracy projects along with wide-area mapping. Contact us to discover how we can work with you for full-service mapping or to support your data acquisition subcontracting as an airborne data acquisition expert. We also own midwave & longwave thermal sensors. These sensors can be flown during daytime or nighttime operations to map radiant heat signatures. Our thermal mapping experience includes agriculture, hydrology, sub-surface steam lines, building heat-loss, and wildlife counts, among many other applications. Reach out to us to learn how we can successfully fly thermal sensors on your project. The AISA Kestrel is a hyperspectral sensor than collects 400 spectral bands [Visble to NIR] for vegetation assessment and wetland species classification. The Kestrel can be co-mounted with the thermal sensor for dual-sensor data acquisition. Ask us how we can utilize these technologies for your projects.
