CorrizonSG is the exclusive distributor for Green ICPS Ltd in Singapore, we supply corrosion treatment base coat called the Corrizon-Base. Corrizon-Base is is made from environmentally friendly ingredients that treats and prevents rust on any metal. Corrizon-Base is a single component waterborne base metal protecting coat. It has an anti-corrosion properties and acts as an oxygen scavenger that penetrates metal substrates, replacing oxygen molecules thus prevents corrosion from recurring. Corrizon-Base is a green product, ready to use without dilution, odorless, environment friendly and does not contain VOC's. Thus, it is compatible with the UL standard certifications- Green Guard & Green Guard Gold. Actually, no special surface preparations is needed. Corrizon-Base is compatible with adherent rust remaining on prepared surfaces, prepared damp surface and suitable for interior and exterior use. The application requires a very thin layer in every coat by any means (brush, roller, spray gun, airless etc.) All tools can be cleaned easily with water. Corrizon-Base has a very fast curing through wide temperature range, high performance general maintenance coating for new and old metal. One can apply on galvanic metal or a painted steel as it penetrates the coats before getting to the metal. For the top paints we recommend to use Cor-Hybrid or Cor Top, although Corrizon-Base compatible with most top paints. Furthermore, Corrizon-Base has a good chemical resistance to splash/spillage, fumes and immersion in natural, fresh and salt water. Metallurgic Tests have shown that rust was not observed on the base metal after 3600 hours in a salty atmosphere and there is no change in the mechanical properties of the steel.
