Mission: At COSED, our mission is to build prosperous communities in Africa and beyond, using as strategic leverages, the maintenance of a healthy environment and the promotion of human dignity. Our Objectives: a) Promote decent behaviors for people to create and maintain a clean and sustainable living environment, b) Promote recycling industry with household waste as a source of raw material for products, c) Promote gender equality and empower women and girls in society, d) Help young people to develop sustainable self-employment solutions using simple and immediately applicable techniques, e) Actively fight the eradication of infectious diseases such as HIV, malaria and tuberculosis, in order to secure a better economic development of populations. Our project: BP100: Make Bohicon, the cleanest city in Benin by 2025. BP100 is a city size community cleaning operation. It involve 500 young volunteers to fight the garbage crisis in the city of Bohicon, Benin, West Africa, and secure a sustainable waste management system.
