It all began with just 3 restaurants who shared a vision for a smarter way to purchase food and control business costs and in 2001 Cape Cod Restaurant Group™ was founded. In 2015 we announced a new name: Cost Control Restaurant Group®. We felt it was time for a name change that more accurately reflected what we do and who we are. Today our group member establishments now extend well beyond Cape Cod into all areas of Massachusetts and into Connecticut, though our roots will always remain on the Cape. We have come to be known as a no-nonsense purchasing group that services quality restaurants. Our business acumen and overall solid reputation for being a low-maintenance purchasing group provides us with the leverage we need to deliver unprecedented price levels for independent restaurants. Launched in 2014, our Menu Analysis service takes the guesswork out of crafting a menu that is profitable, efficient and, most importantly, popular with customers. We are seeing historical price levels that makes delivering a menu that’s profitable and yet affordable extremely challenging. Restaurants need to know which menu items are generating the most profit and how many are dragging them down by higher than expected food costs. The time has come to properly manage inventory, understand actual Vs. ideal food cost, and stay ahead of food inflation. These, among many other factors, are just some of the insights our Menu Analysis service uncovers.
