Starting in 1994 as a small family company, Cottons launched Australia’s first all natural cotton tampons - with encouragingly positive user feedback. Cottons were quickly taken on by supermarkets and pharmacies and from there Cottons launched a range of liners and pads with a 100% natural cotton coversheet. Again feedback was very positive and it seemed natural to look outside Australia to see if the reception from consumers in other countries would be similarly strong. Cottons products are now available in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, The Middle East, Central and East African markets and, most recently, China and the USA. Even though Cottons now has a considerably expanded reach, it is still a family owned company that cares passionately about it's mission to bring natural alternatives to consumers in the health and hygiene markets. Today though our aim is very much to make this a global mission rather than a 'local' mission.
