Cougar Offshore provides onshore and offshore structural consultancy services to the oil and gas industry. Our focus is to provide a committed responsive service using client oriented solutions. Our Services cover deep water platforms, fixed platforms, jackups, onshore structures, project & fabrication support, system and component analysis, linear and non-linear analysis, inspection and damage assessment. In addition to the services provided, Cougar Offshore has developed two highly efficient systems for the integrity management of platforms. CougarSIM(TM) and CougarGIS(TM) are two systems that can be independent or integrated. CougarSIM(TM) is a managed system for the evaluation of structural integrity to ensure fitness for purpose of offshore structures. CougarSIM(TM) follows the guidance provided in API RP 2SIM and meets regulatory requirements. An entire fleet is risk ranked to determine likelihood of failure and consequence of failure. This is utilized to prioritize remedial measures as part of the mitigation strategy. An ongoing long-term risk based plan is developed covering an annual program of targeted inspection and anomaly tracking. CougarGIS(TM) is highly cost effective and provides visualization of assets such as platforms, pipelines, risk category, hub, inventory visualization, soil boring locations, reefing sites etc. Data can be queried and new data sets generated. CougarGIS(TM) provides centralized access to data, documentation, photos, reports etc.
