About Council for the Homeless
Council for the Homeless (CFTH) is a nonprofit providing community leadership, compelling advocacy, and practical solutions to prevent and end homelessness in Clark County, WA. CFTH works with educators, public entities, healthcare, behavioral health, business, social service, faith communities, and more to shape and implement a community-wide approach addressing homelessness. We founded and operate the Housing Solutions Center, the community's central access point for the Housing Hotline, homelessness services, emergency shelter, Diversion, assessment and housing program placement, rent assistance, and access to supportive services including childcare, healthcare, and employment resources. In addition, CFTH conducts regular community education about causes and solutions to homelessness, administers and analyzes homeless system data, and advocates at all levels of government for public policies that reduce homelessness, housing instability, and poverty.
