About Council of Industry
The Council of Industry has been the manufacturer’s association for the Hudson Valley since 1910. We are a privately funded not-for-profit organization, whose mission is to promote the success of our member firms and their employees, and through them contribute to the success of the Hudson Valley Community. The Council of Industry provides various training programs and workforce development strategies in order to fulfill our mission. Initiatives under the strategies include: -New York State Manufacturing Alliance Apprenticeship Program -Hudson Valley Pathways Academy -GoMakeIt.org -Manufacturing Day -Matching Educators with Manufacturers -Manufacturing Leadership Certificate -Hudson Valley Consortium Training Our organization has launched these initiatives to help students, parents, and teachers explore the world of advanced manufacturing, and to find the information they need to pursue careers in our exciting industry.
