About Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia
Assuring quality in chiropractic education and competency - The Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia (CCEA) Ltd is an independent and nationally recognised body responsible for ensuring competency and high education standards in chiropractic for the Australasian community. Accrediting chiropractic programs in the Australasia region - Accreditation by CCEA is a multi-level process that certifies the quality of education through the development of standards, self-analysis by the institution, peer review evaluation and ongoing monitoring. Graduates of accredited chiropractic programs in Australia and NZ are eligible for registration with the Chiropractic Board of Australia. Undertaking qualification and skills assessment for migration and registration - Overseas qualified chiropractors seeking registration in Australia with the Chiropractic Board of Australia, or in New Zealand with the New Zealand Chiropractic Board, must undergo an assessment of their qualification and skills with CCEA. Qualified chiropractors wishing to migrate to Australia must also undergo this assessment.
