About Counter Solutions

Formed in 1989, Counter Solutions is a privately owned company dedicated to supplying the hospitality industry with the latest point-of-sale (EPOS) technology and back office systems to meet the complimentary need for rapid access to consolidated management information and product control. Our early successes in the Pub, Hotel & Restaurant sectors included clients ranging from large complex sites of 500 networked EPOS devices through to small restaurant estates over multiple locations. During the 1990’s new technologies allowed us to continue to improve the quality of our centralised systems and also provide enhanced remote diagnostics and support. At this time we recognised the synergy between the technologies in the general EPOS market and the needs of the cashless payment/smartcard sectors. Our innovative approach to both front and back of house requirements soon caught the imagination of the hospitality sector who applied our products in both open and closed client communities with equal success. Today our WAY2PAY platform continues the trend we started, bringing something new to the payments industry. We have continued to follow our core values by creating a system that brings new and innovative features to the payments and cashless systems market. Taking into account valuable feedback we received from contract caterers and catering consultants, the WAY2PAY system is designed to provide a wealth of data that will help drive business decisions at every level.
