February 2021: The platform was launched in the Brazil for exports of grains and oilseeds in bulk. The first execution flows captured in Covantis were bulk shipments of soybeans and corn from any port in Brazil to any destination in the world. By the end of 2021 the platform already captured the execution of over 1000 vessels. February 2022: Covantis added flows originated in the USA and Canada for many more grains and oilseeds. New agri commodities and market participants have been added and by the end of the year over 3400 vessels and volumes captured in the platform increased by 264% year-on-year. February 2023: Argentina & Uruguay were added as the latest origin markets. Covantis now covers all the major export markets in the Americas, supporting trading companies to execute their contracts from the biggest origination markets in the world.
