About Cove Counseling Group

Cove Counseling Group was founded by Leah Aguirre and Diana Rabban. Leah and Diana are both LCSWs and met in 2014 while both were working as clinicians at a trauma focused community based program for youth experiencing homelessness. That program, Counseling Cove, provided a strong foundation for both Leah and Diana. 10 years later, it felt only right to name our practice after a program where we met and that shaped us both as clinicians. Our hope is that our practice upholds that same culture-one that is inclusive and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door and is a space that provides healing and empowerment. We are a trauma-informed therapy group practice that is dedicated to providing specialized, compassionate support for individuals who have experienced trauma. Our approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a deep understanding of the effects of trauma on mental health and well-being.
