About Coyote Media Collective
COYOTE is a new digital media publication founded by longtime journalists in the Bay Area. We’re award-winning reporters and podcasters, filmmakers and photographers, writers and novelists, opinion and advice columnists. We’re tired of corporate newsrooms dominating the narrative, and sapping all the joy out of journalism in pursuit of profit. Inspired by the righteous (and funny!) alt-weeklies of yore, we’re building an independent, worker-owned newsroom dedicated to informing the public, and having fun at the same time.
