About CPC Engineering Design
CPC Engineering Design Limited is a New Zealand company through which Chris Chambers has traded as a mechanical design consultant. In 2014 design consulting was stopped and the only activity since then has been research and development of furniture hardware. Most of this work is covered in the pending patent. The new style of furniture construction is referred to as hollow section joinery (HSJ) because the constructed furniture panels are hollow allowing them to conceal the metal fittings holding the panel together or joining it to another panel. HSJ is well suited to fitted furniture and “flat pack” ready-to-assemble furniture. The brand Hiyff has been created to promote the benefits of hollow section joinery. All the intellectual property is fully owned by CPC Engineering Design. All creation and development work was done by Chris Chambers. To learn more about HSJ visit the Hiyff website.
