About Crdc Materials
At CRDC MATERIALS, we support the recycling and construction industries to tackle two of the planet’s most urgent challenges—plastic pollution and sustainable construction. We engineer RESIN8® recycled-content building materials from plastic waste that is difficult or impossible to recycle into new plastic. Concrete enriched with RESIN8® synthetic aggregates can be lighter, more durable, and more energy-efficient than conventional concrete. RESIN8® additives in asphalt reduce pavement deformation, so roadways last longer. Building with RESIN8® reduces pollution by diverting low-value plastics from landfill, incineration, and unmanaged dumping. It also lowers the carbon footprint of plastic waste management; conserves dwindling stocks of virgin minerals; protects sensitive habitats from mining; securely stores carbon in the built environment; and ensures that nonrecyclable plastics recovered from rivers, beaches and the ocean are permanently removed from polluting the environment. Together with our partner subsidiaries in Costa Rica, Mexico, North America, South Africa, and Australia, CRDC MATERIALS sells RESIN8® to governments, developers, contractors, and concrete and asphalt manufacturers who are proudly leading the global transition to a sustainable built environment. We are the flagship commercial implementation of REAP (Recover - Enrich - Appreciate - Prosper), the regenerative Zero Waste business framework of the Center for Regenerative Design and Collaboration (CRDC) in Costa Rica.
