ABOUT CRDC MATERIALS SOUTH AFRICA Founded by the Centre for Regenerative Design and Collaboration (CRDC) and CRDC MATERIALS, CRDC MATERIALS SOUTH AFRICA (CRDC SA) mission is to create appreciating value from un-recyclable, mismanaged plastic waste by converting it into an Eco-Aggregate which facilitates the creation of superior environmentally friendly construction products. We have created a groundbreaking new innovative technology that takes all 7 types of plastic waste and turns it into a lightweight Eco-Aggregate, called RESIN8. The replacement of a percentage of natural aggregates with RESIN8 in concrete products proves to add or maintain the strength, reduce weight, and increase the thermal properties of these concrete products. The potential benefits to job creation, our overflowing landfills, the environment, as well as infrastructure development across the African continent are limitless.
