About Cre8ive Artisans Pod

The Cre8ive Artisans Pod (CAP), founded by Jenni Parker and Linda Penny, grew out of the real-life difficulties, experienced by disadvantaged artisans in Cambodia, during the first COVID lock-downs in early 2020. The concept is based on artisans supporting artisans, where people are given a hand-up rather than a hand-out. We are both crafty people and the idea for a community online handicraft shop was born from our love of making handmade items. The CAP Shop, a not-for-profit social enterprise, acts as a platform to increase the visibility of talented WA Artisans and a conduit for people to contribute to eliminating poverty across the globe. Products are donated by WA Artisans and we provide links to their social media/web sites to increase the exposure of their products to the broader WA community. We are not mailing internationally at present but "never say never" as the saying goes! We are also keen to promote handmade markets and CAP artisan exhibitions so have established a calendar of events and news on ÇAP website.
