About Create a Loop

Create a Loop is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing rigorous and ambitious computer science instruction to students in the Saint Louis Metropolitan area, including students from low income backgrounds, who have little to no access or are otherwise underrepresented in the field of computer science. Create a Loop aims to disrupt the generational poverty cycle by equipping students with advanced computer programming skills and opening avenues to rewarding careers with meaningful salaries. Our vision is to build a program with a strong curricular foundation and online platform, so that it can be executed on a larger scale, simply and systematically bringing computer science education to students in a challenging, engaging and structured fashion. All of our children deserve access to knowledge and equipment that are defining the future.
