About Create-A-Palooza
Create-A-Palooza is a vibrant, walk in paint your own pottery and art activity studio and venue located in the heart of historic downtown Carlisle, PA. with activities for the entire family. The studio offers informal "open studio" times, scheduled classes, and hosting for special events and parties. Located just two doors down from the main historic square, Create-A-Palooza's flagship location has been home to many businesses and distinguished local residents over its 270+ year history. The basement still features a walk in fireplace hearth with a "beehive" oven typical in colonial days, and the upper floors feature 8' high fold in pocket shutters and are accessed via a breathtaking spiral staircase. The front facade of the building is authentic to 1889, when U.S. Medal of Honor recipient Charles Marquette moved his family to Carlisle to launch a tailoring business.
