Creative Visions empowers creative activists worldwide to raise awareness of critical issues and drive positive change through impact storytelling. The term "creative activist" was first coined by Kathy Eldon after her son Dan Eldon, an artist, adventurer and activist was killed in Somalia in 1993 while working as a photojournalist on assignment for Reuters. To honor his legacy, Kathy and her daughter Amy, founded Creative Visions in 1998 to help others like Dan use media and arts to create meaningful change around the world. A 501(c)(3) and United Nations NGO, Creative Visions is a global force for creative action. Creative Visions manages a powerful network of activists, artists, filmmakers, advisors and organizations.
