About Creekside Cottages

INTERLOCHEN, MI. — We are a small cottage studio complex and hostel located 14 miles (23 kilometers) south of downtown Traverse City, Michigan and the Cherry Capital Airport, close to Interlochen State Park and Interlochen Center for the Arts. Rooms are available year-round as affordable, self-catering vacation rentals. During off-peak season and winter, some of the units are also available for monthly rental/lease. Our historical log cottage studios at 3050 M-137 are ideally situated — within four blocks of restaurants, shopping, farmer’s market, ice cream, putt putt golf, the post office, and public library; 15-minute walk to Interlochen Arts Acadmey venues, including Kresge Auditorium, Corson Auditorium, and Dendrinos Chapel. 24 miles to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, and minutes to mountain bike and hiking trails; fishing, swimming, and paddling lakes and rivers; wineries, golfing, and scenic rides. More than an ordinary vacation rental, Creekside Cottages is guided by values such as global friendship, local engagement, environmental stewardship, and sustainable tourism. We hope to build a better, more peaceful world by increasing access to travel, outdoor recreation and adventure, the arts, community living, and cultural exchange.
