About Creo Studios

Creō Studios is a British fashion brand born in Manchester. Upon founding the company, we wanted to communicate our love for British Heritage. As we proceeded to research British history we learnt that Latin became the principal language of the elite amidst the formation of the Roman Empire, which led to the uncovering of the term “Creō”. A Latin lexeme which translates directly as a verb; “to create”. When this aligned with our hunger for product and desire to design, it seemed only right to utilise it as part of the brand’s name. We paired this with our working place of residence which was an old cotton mill converted studio. A Creative Studio. Creō Studios. The plurality stems from the ambition for expansion. This brand name is then turned into an acronym that delivers our slogan; “Creativity Rejects Every Obstacle.”
